About Arjan Leeuwerke

Having grown up on a farm in a little town in the northern part of the Netherlands, Arjan and his family moved to Canada in 2004 and settled on a farm in South-Western Ontario. Arjan pursued his passion for agriculture and attended the University of Guelph earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture Economics. His first job after University was in the feed industry as a poultry specialist, followed by a farm manager position at a large cash crop operation in the Niagara Region.

With his outgoing personality and eagerness to help people, he decided to go back to school to get his real estate license. Arjan started his real estate career in the fall of 2014 selling residential real estate in the Woodstock area. In 2017 Arjan began working with the FarmOntario team, focusing on farm real estate. In the fall of 2020, Arjan moved the FarmOntario brand to Eastern Ontario. Based just outside of Ottawa, Arjan & his partner Chelsea have a small farm where they grow cash crops and have a herd of belted galloway cows.

Since moving our brand to Eastern Ontario, Arjan has helped many clients buy and sell a wide variety of farms & vacant land, having sold over 8,000 acres in this short time.
